This is the very day whence my country had been freed during 1898 from the colonization of Spanish rule which had lasted for nearly 400 years. This day makes us remember of the sheer pressure and the very hope of every filipino during those times when we all fought for our pride and freedom of our great nation, the Philippines. Thus, we celebrate today "The Independence Day of the Philippines"!
