So the other day, I watched "Godzilla"

This film truly received the majority of people's attention when it came out with it's teaser trailers over the past months. Now that it is out, people seemed to have different thoughts of the movie. The side which is overly satisfied with it, and the other which regards it as a failure. Well, I kinda fall in between. Between to the failure, to be specific. Godzilla truly had been superior in it's graphical imagery and is obviously what Godzilla 1998 should've been. But the movie, approximately around 2 hours long had a problem. It didn't give Godzilla, the main star more screen time. I do understand that they are planning to build up to the final climax of the story, but too many teasers were shown that really offsets the viewers. The enemies "M.U.T.O" had been given certain amount of screen time that we weren't very much interested in. But they did manage to pay it back by the sheer amount of awesomeness it delivered from the final fight scene of the two monsters. The plus this movie gave was the fact that they made Godzilla the vigilante, which resulted in a very reasonable ending. But the fact that most of the screen time when the monsters weren't there, are mainly covered by bland acting and dialogue, which may be because of most the budget going towards the production of this films amazing graphical effects. To conclude, it is a good movie and is highly recommended even if you are not a Godzilla franchise follower.
